Jessica Blaemire
Jessica Blaemire is a Legal Analyst on the Data, Legal Analytics & Business Team, focusing on legal operations. Prior to joining Bloomberg Industry Group, Jessica was a commercial litigation attorney for over fifteen years. Jessica spent ten years of her practicing career with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, where she was seconded to a banking client for almost four years and where she served as an active member on the firm’s LGBTQIA+ allies and wellness committees. Jessica earned a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a BA in Sociology and American Studies from the College of William and Mary. Jessica is licensed in Illinois, D.C., and Virginia, and participates in the Virginia Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program.
Susie Bokermann
Susan (Susie) Bokermann leads the corporate analysis team. Her team focuses on a broad range of issues including environmental, social, and governance matters; shareholder matters; bankruptcy; and other corporate law topics. Her team is responsible for developing Practical Guidance and data-driven analysis for in-house attorneys, as well as the corporate attorneys advising public companies and their boards. Susie received her B.A. from Georgetown University and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.
Francis Boustany
Francis Boustany is a legal analyst on the corporate analysis team, focusing on labor and employment law. In previous roles, he served as a management consultant and a director of advisory services, focusing on labor and employment law compliance, employee relations, process improvement, and technology implementation and adoption. He received his B.A. from Louisiana State University in mass communication, his M.A. from Louisiana Tech University in industrial/organizational psychology, and his J.D. from Louisiana State University.
Preston Brewer
Preston Brewer is a legal analyst on the transactional team, with an emphasis on capital markets. Previously, he was an attorney-adviser with the SEC focusing on biotech IPOs. His law firm experience includes corporate and securities and debt trading. Preston has an LL.M. in securities and financial regulation from Georgetown University, a J.D. from USC, and a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara.
Alex Butler
Alex Butler is vice president of analysis and content on the Bloomberg Law executive team leading teams of expert analysts, legal specialists, and data scientists. These teams are focused on legal developments that drive the economy, including litigation, transactions, regulatory and compliance, and the legal market itself. Alex has more than 25 years of legal tech leadership experience in early-stage and global organizations. Alex received his B.A. from American University and his M.B.A. from Villanova University.
Colin Caleb
Colin Caleb is a legal analyst on the transactional team, with a focus on structured finance and capital markets. He has over a decade of experience, ranging from structured finance deal work at a boutique D.C. law firm to in-house counsel for a bureau within the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Most recently, Colin served as an attorney with the SEC focusing on securities laws impacting private and smaller reporting companies. He earned his accounting and law degrees from Oakwood University and St. Mary’s University School of Law, respectively.
Golriz Chrostowski
Golriz Chrostowski is a legal analyst on the litigation team. Prior to joining Bloomberg Law, Golriz was a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Elser, where she worked on a wide variety of complex litigation matters for seven years. Before that, Golriz worked as a litigation associate at a boutique litigation firm in New York for five years. Golriz received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
Robert Combs
Robert Combs is the manager of Bloomberg Law’s Analysis Channel. In more than 20 years at Bloomberg Law, Robert has provided legal analysis on labor and employment issues, headed the company’s knowledge services and customized research teams, and edited employment and payroll publications. Robert has an M.S. in journalism from Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and graduated with a B.A. in English from Denison University.
Denis Demblowski
Denis Demblowski is a legal analyst on the transactional team, with a focus on commercial transactions and corporate law. He practiced in-house for 32 years in such areas as compliance, corporate, executive compensation, finance, corporate governance, general commercial, international, M&A, and securities. Denis held managerial and legal practice leadership positions in Alcoa Inc., a global manufacturing and industrial company. Denis is a graduate of Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Robert Dillard
Robert Dillard is a legal analyst on the litigation team. Prior to joining Bloomberg Law, Robert was a litigator and in-house counsel at both small firms and state government agencies. His practice focused on government contracts and employment law while representing clients before state, federal, and administrative courts. Robert earned his B.S. from Morehouse College and his J.D. from Georgetown University.
Jeff Fuller
Jeff Fuller is a legal analyst on the corporate team, focusing on bankruptcy and financial restructuring. His experience includes over a decade of work as an attorney in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases nationwide, representing debtors, secured creditors, creditor committees, trustees, franchisees, landlords, and others. Jeff received his B.A. from Davidson College, his M.A. from the University of Mississippi, and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
Abigail Gampher
Abigail Gampher is a Legal Analyst on the Corporate Analysis Team, focusing on compliance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. Abigail is licensed in the District of Columbia. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief to her law review and worked at D.C. Superior Court, in crime victim legal services, and international election law. She received her B.A. in International Relations from Hendrix College and J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.
Dori Goldstein
Dori Goldstein is an Assistant Team Lead on the Corporate Analysis Team. She is an employment attorney who focuses on equal opportunity, disability accommodation, and Covid-19 issues in the workplace. Her team handles a broad range of health and employment law topics. Dori is licensed in Ohio and received her JD from the University of Dayton School of Law.
Melissa Heelan
Melissa Heelan works with Bloomberg Law’s legal analysts to edit and promote their analysis pieces. Melissa has been with Bloomberg Law since 2015, first working in the news division reporting on federal court rulings, the business and practice of law, and legal ethics. Melissa is licensed in the District of Columbia. She has a BA in German from Georgetown University and a JD from Creighton University.
Diane Holt
Diane Holt is the Team Lead for Transactional. Her team is responsible for developing Practical Guidance and data-driven analysis for transactional lawyers. Previously, she worked as transactional counsel for Enel, SpA, the Italian electric monopoly, in Rome, Italy; consultant to Central European regional operations in transition; and manager of Central European Advisory Group, the regional legal and business consultancy. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she earned her JD at the University of Michigan. Diane speaks Spanish, Italian, French and Czech.
Molly Huie
Molly Huie is the Team Lead for Data Analysis & Surveys, specializing in research design, custom surveys, statistics, and data science. Previously, she worked for Forrester Research managing global, syndicated surveys, primarily in the financial space. Molly has a BA from Butler University and an MS from the State University of New York (SUNY).
Kristyn Hyland
Kristyn Hyland is the Director of Analysis at Bloomberg Law, with more than 15 years' experience in the legal research and technology industry. As Director of Analysis, Kristyn oversees a team of highly experienced legal analysts focused on developing data-driven content in the areas of litigation, transactional law, regulatory & compliance, and legal department operations & markets. Kristyn received her BA from Haverford College and her JD from Washington University School of Law.
John Irons
John Irons is the Data Visualization Manager for the Data Analysis and Surveys team. He has over 20 years' experience as a graphic artist, and before joining Bloomberg, spent nearly a decade designing graphs and charts for CQ Roll Call and National Journal.
Peter Karalis
Peter Karalis is an Assistant Team Lead on the Corporate Analysis Team, focusing on privacy, technology, and IP. He previously served as an in-house counsel, advising on product development, commercial transactions, and advertising initiatives. Peter earned a JD from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a BS in Business Administration and MA in Public Communication from American University. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Princess Onyiri
Princess Onyiri is a Data and Research Analyst on the Data Analysis and Surveys team. Prior to working for Bloomberg Law, she worked as a Data Analyst for a policy research company, analyzing educational data to help in the improvement of educational research and reform. She has a B.S. in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Abena Opong-Fosu
Abena Opong-Fosu is a Legal Analyst in Bloomberg Law’s fellowship program. Previously, she worked as a Legal Research Assistant for the Legal Information Institute in New York and practiced as an Associate Attorney in Accra, Ghana where her practice focused on commercial and securities litigation, supporting corporate transactions and counseling multinational companies on local law. Abena received her LL.M in Corporate, Finance and Securities Law from Cornell Law School and her LLB from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Stephanie Pacheco
Stephanie Pacheco is a Legal Analyst on the Data, Legal Analytics & Business Team, focusing on legal technology and legal operations. Stephanie is a licensed attorney in her home state, South Carolina. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and interned with The U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Stephanie earned a Dual B.A. in Criminal Justice and Philosophy from the University of South Carolina and her J.D. from Charleston School of Law.
Annie Pavia
Annie Pavia is an Assistant Team Lead on the Litigation team, focusing on litigation finance and general litigation. She has been with Bloomberg Law since 2016, and prior to that practiced as a litigation associate with Latham & Watkins for five years. Annie has a JD from the University of Virginia and a BA from the College of William and Mary.
Emily Rouleau
Emily Rouleau is a Legal Analyst on the Transactional team. Previously, Emily worked as an associate practicing corporate law and government contracts law with a focus on M&A transactions involving government contractors. Emily received her B.A. from Clark University and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
Eleanor Tyler
Eleanor Tyler is a Legal Analyst on the Litigation team, with a focus on antitrust. Previously, she spent seven years reporting for Bloomberg Law's antitrust news desk. Before joining Bloomberg Law in 2010, Eleanor was a litigation associate at a large law firm. She clerked for the Hon. Simeon Lake in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Her JD is from Georgetown University, and she holds an MA in international affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS.
Erin Webb
Erin L. Webb is a Legal Analyst on the Litigation team. Before joining Bloomberg Law, Erin was a litigator focusing on complex commercial disputes and insurance coverage litigation. She has worked at large law firms and small, including Dickstein Shapiro, Blank Rome, and her own solo firm. Erin received her BA from Western Michigan University and her JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
Jason Wilson
Jason Wilson leads the litigation analysis team. His team covers general litigation, with focuses on antitrust, bankruptcy, IP, and litigation finance. Before joining Bloomberg, he accumulated over 25 years of experience leading teams that produced high-value content for litigators, serving as a vice president of a regional legal publishing company and editorial director at Thomson Reuters. Jason has a JD from South Texas College of Law and a BA from the University of Houston.
